Shrink Plastic Leaf Necklace

In creating this, I was inspired by the shrink plastic pieces of jewelry artist, Louise McClure.

I used the cricut machine to cut out the leaf shapes. It did not cut shrink plastic very well, but it did score it deeply enough that I was able to tear out the leaf shapes.

I will have to share this link with my friend Kathy, who has a Cricut. (I was calling it CRY-cut until she said "cricket" the other night. Who knew!) Your necklace is lovely!

I wondered about the cricut and shirnk plastic - good (though I guess disappointing) that it doesn't make a clean cut. Neat idea for a necklace, though, and you made it work!
