We bought and put up our Christmas tree today! This is one of my favorite activities of the holiday season. In the photo above you see my children at the WNC Farmer's Market. Boy was it cold this morning. The thermometer on the car read 29 degrees! That seems cold to me for Asheville at this time of year. Here below, I am decorating the tree.

And here is a soldered ornament I made a few years ago. Back when I was making them I became a bit tired of them and didn't think they were all that special. Now I love the few I have left over from that productive time. The photo in this ornament is the Vance Monument which is a landmark in downtown Asheville.

The tree is HUGE and beautiful! I know it was fun to decorate in the new/old house.
