Tea box teapot

Inspired by the shape of the rectangular yixing teapots, pictured above, I decided to make a teapot from an empty tea bag box. I covered the box with rice paper and used tea bag paper. But then I messed up a bit on the decoration. But I do think the shape of the whole is nice.

What a truly clever idea! I'll have to add this to my list of "Tea Projects I Aim to Try ..." Thanks for sharing!

That is very clever, I love it! It is so real looking just be careful you don't fill it with real tea!

I think it is beautiful Lynn! Only you see a mess up. Maybe you need to make another and your idea of the mess up is the way you should change it. Then make another. What a cool thing to do! I'll trade you a charm necklace for one...

I also wanted to tell you that your posts on Craftivism were very interesting. I believe I am one but I didn't know it until I read this here. I decided long ago that I didn't enjoy buying gifts that are mass produced for the people I love and so I started to make my gifts. Well, I certainly got into a habit of creating for creating's sake and I feel like I am happier and healthier for all of my excess energy being channeled into something so positive.

I also like the interview with the Lark guy. I do love those "500/1000" books. I think I have 5 or 6.

And thanks for all your comments to me while I was so busy over the last few months. I have finally gotten a chance to relax, get over here, read some of your posts and say Hi!

email me about that trade... the link is under my photo on the left hand side
